蛮久没有稍微认真地推荐一款新的 WordPress 的主题了, 个人感觉相当长一段时间内都没有出现啥比较不错的主题, Smashing Magazine 倒是时不时的扔出一款比较有特色的主题, 其它地方就比较少了, Pop it Now! 这款我喜欢!!

谈不上有什么特色的东西, 主要是因为我觉得看上去很舒服, 颜色啊, 设计, 排版等, 主要的两点是:

• 兼容 FireFox 2+, Internet Explorer 6+, Safari, Opera and Chrome
• widget ready, 多达 6 个

Make it Worn，一款复古磨损风格的 WordPress 主题，由 Bart-Jan Verhoef 设计，很不错，推荐。

其实这款主题算是 Bart-Jan Verhoef 关于 ”如何给网站设计一款复古磨损的风格“ 这个教程的最终成果。我个人很喜欢这款主题，无论是排版，配色或设计都很棒，看上去很舒服，所以推荐给大家。

Revolution Theme 系列主题的作者 Brian Gardner 在他的博客上正式宣布开源主题站 Revolution Two 正式上线了。

我想应该不用过多去介绍 Revolution Theme 了，关注 WordPress 主题的同学们应该都有听过，前段时间 Brian Gardner 在 博客上宣布 Revolution Theme 即将开源。而现在，这一切都已成为真实。

详细情况可以参阅作者的博客。另外现在 Revolution Two 上也已提供了 10 款主题的 demo，大家可以一睹为快。但暂时还未正式提供下载，不过很快，按作者的意思，将在 11 月 1 日正式发布，也就是明天。经 riku 提醒，在每个主题的底部提供了下载链接，失误失误，不太明显，没注意看到，囧~~。

之前我就有关注过，Daniel Dura 在 8 月份的时候写了篇 Wordpress Comment Moderator AIR Application，几个月过去了，没想到终于发布了。

Moderator 的功能及特色主要有：

• Viewing unmoderated comments.
• Dock and system tray notifications of the number of unmoderated comments.
• Accept, delete, and spam comments from within the desktop client.
• Close application window, or minimize it to the system tray while running.
• Shows the Gravatar icons for the user who posted the comment.

简单讲，就是显示和处理评论，会在桌面托盘显示未处理的评论数，允许审核评论，如通过啊，删除或设置为 spam 等。此客户端可以最小化到托盘，并可以显示评论者的 Gravatar。

对于那些评论很多的博主来说，这个客户端还蛮有用处的，至于像我这样的就好像没有太多必要了，专门开着一个客户端，有点浪费内存的嫌疑，哈哈。

当然，目前发布的只是一个初始版本，肯定会存在很多 bug 什么的，欢迎向作者反馈，反馈邮箱是 wpmoderator@gmail.com。

另外，提醒一下，使用此客户端需要先安装 Adobe AIR 1.1 环境，WordPress 版本至少是 2.6。

获取并使用此客户端软件方法是，需要先下载一个 WordPress 插件，上传到你的 WordPress 插件目录，并在后台激活，然后去 Settings 页面，会有一个 Moderator 的管理面板，提供了 Moderator AIR 客户端的下载，下载安装后就可以使用了。

目前已知的问题是如果你未处理的评论数达到上百个的话，此客户端的执行效率可能会有点问题，不过作者承诺了可以在下个版本中解决。同时作者还承诺将加入一些特性，比如回复评论，显示多个博客的未处理评论数，新评论提示等。另外，Moderator 会紧跟 WordPress 2.7 的步伐，会对客户端的 theme 做出相应修改。

实现方法需要修改你的主题文件，代码如下（注意：下面的代码为原文代码，只做参考用）：

使用get_post_custom_values函数获取你在写日志时定义的以expiration为 key 的custom field的值，进行一定的格式化动作后和现在的时间进行比较，如果大于现在的时间，说明文章有效期还未到，则显示这篇日志。

需要注意的是，在写日志的时候，记得填写 custom field， key 为 expiration （和上面代码中的 expiration 相对应），value 为mm/dd/yyyy格式的时间，如10/28/2008 。

也许有人看了代码也不甚清楚，我就拿默认主题之一 default 作实例吧。修改index.php文件，下面是修改后的代码。

文中肯定会有哪里有纰漏，请见谅，据说我不懂 php，

最后延伸一点，利用get_post_custom_values这个函数可以实现很多自定义显示方式，大家在制作主题时也许可以考虑一下 。

这次改动蛮大的，除了 sidebar 部分。主要集中在 header 和 content 部分，直接罗列一下都修改了哪里吧。

• 页面加宽到 950px，大家的显示器都蛮大的了，这算是与时俱进吧，相对原来的加宽了 100px。
• header 部分，启用了一张全新的背景图，并添加了 logo，这是 yichi 同学好早好早之前帮我设计的，蛮简单的，先凑合着用吧。
• 添加了新的 favicon，之间的音符图案确实不太适合啊，我竟然用了这么久，晕。
• 完全放弃之前的 title 显示方式，去掉显示时间的图标，用简单的一行文字显示，其它的一些东东也全部去掉了，比如 comment 链接，还有 tags 等。
• 最重要的部分是重新设计了 asides 的显示，把更多的 tumblelog 的元素直接融入到主题里，停用了 AsideShop 这个插件，直接用分类来区分，不过就是写死了不方便移植。主要添加了 asides，video，photo，quote 等四种。我个人蛮喜欢 tumblelog 这类服务的，这也是我为什么用 chyrp 搭建我的英文博客的原因。
• 修改了单篇文章末的显示内容，去掉了原来的相关日志，添加了“文章相关信息模块”及“上下一篇日志”，这部分参考了 wordzine 的设计，在此表示感谢。
• 修改了一下 gravatar 的显示方式。
• 修改了搜索结果页，之前是只显示 title，现在回归默认显示方式，就是显示所有内容。
• 以前是把各部分 css 代码拆解成多个 css 文件，这次则把所有 css 代码都重新合并到 style.css 文件中，并全部采用“一行”的写法。

差不多就这些吧，稍微在 ie7，firefox3，safari3 下测试了下，如果您发现了什么问题，请留言，谢谢。

Brian Gardner’s Revolution Theme is one of the more successful premium WordPress themes, but now is going Open Source .
